These bagels are the real deal- made fresh every day and open early (6AM) so we were able to stop by on our way home from the beach (and they were open on Labor Day, which was nice). They mixed up our order but were very nice about it and gave us free bagels. The ambiance and decor are pretty much what you'd expect for a strip mall bagel shop, and the air conditioning was broken, but the bagels get five stars- just grab them and go.

Better than store-bought. Worse than good. Capers are oversized, which isn't bad or good. Just something I'd want to be aware of when choosing a bagel establishment. Also they don't take credit cards which is unfathomable in August of 2015.

Great bagels, especially everything.... If you like Lox, you have to get their chive cream cheese and lox on everything. They do not skimp on lox, in fact quite the opposite. Good work guys!

We loved this place!!! We came down here to move my mom out of her house to a retirement place, and we had Thanksgiving here. We got a dozen the first day--all eaten up (BTW, we had 16 people here). We then came the next day and got 3 dozen (1 dozen to freeze) and the 2 dozen were eaten up, too. Everyone here was raving about the bagels!!!! So my sister (who lives by the chesapeake) went by to get a dozen, and all they had was 3 sesame!! I LOVE this place!!! So my mom is coming this way tomorrow (we just got back last night) and I asked her to get me 3 dozen so I can freeze. Maybe I will be nice and give some to my sister next time she comes, but I seriously doubt they will last that long. GREAT PLACE!!!

Top notch place. This quickly became our go-to place for breakfast. The bagels here are fresh and yummy. They have about 10 different spreads you can get on them. We unfortunately weren't here Long enough to try any if them. We had the breakfast sandwiches and they came loaded. Two sandwiches and two drinks for $16 seems a bit steep until you see how big the sandwich is. They also serve a variety of deli sandwiches, pastries and even sliced deli meat by the pound. $8 to be exact for Deitz and Watson. Really reasonable. Coffee was decent but nothing to write home about. Anyway.. Really good breakfast spot.

There should really be more reviews for this delicious location. We've been coming here for 2 years every summer when we vacation at Rehoboth beach. It's located along Coastal Highway in a strip mall that is hidden behind a massive Candy Kitchen. It has tables and chairs that accommodates eat-in. We usually get breakfast sandwich on bagels, egg whites are super inexpensive and their bagels are soft and delicious. And I'm a girl who knows my bagels. The staff is always friendly and will fix you whatever your little breakfast heart desires. They serve lunch: salad, sandwich and soups perhaps but I usually get so stuffed after the large bagel sandwiches I only get hungry by dinner. Don't miss out on this gem!

Best bagels and bialys in Delaware, period. Also good cream cheese and whitefish salad.

Hands down these are the best bagels outside of visiting Manhattan. We popped in at the end of the day literally a second before close and could not be happier with the huge bag of bagels and bialys we ran home with! Could be sacrilege, but we froze a bunch too - yummmo!!!!!!

This Bagel shop is ok the one good thing is they have scrapple. But if your this close to Surf Bagel go the extra mile and get the best bagel at the beach!

Delicious fresh bagels made the New York way, fresh smoked salmon, chicken breast on the grill, chicken salad, tuna salad, breakfast sandwiches just to name a few. Everything is fresh and made daily right on site. Great family atmosphere Herbie and his wife, the owners are there everyday with a smile ready to serve their customers. You can eat in or take out. We are daily customers. You will not be disappointed. They open at 6:30 with fresh warm bagels.

If you're visiting the beach but still craving that authentic city bagel, K&H Hot Bagels will more than satisfy. This unassuming small deli is hidden in a relatively unwelcoming strip-mall next to the go-kart tracks, just south of the midway movie theaters. But the bagels exceeded my expectations - so excited to find a real bagel store in Rehoboth. We ordered a toasted bagel and cream cheese, and a sausage egg and cheese breakfast bagel sandwich which were both excellent. Best of all, in mid-August - peak beach season where lines and traffic can be maddening - K&H was serene. There were over 2 dozen bagel varieties, including a french-toast bagel, and a spinach bagel. They also offered reasonably-priced deli sandwiches, pastries, wraps, and coffee (though I didn't have a chance to try those). There were 6 round tables, plenty of space, and the place was welcoming enough although probably best suited to carry-out. Hours as stated on the menu: M-Sat 5am-5pm; Sun 6am-4pm

I was in Rehoboth running errands, and I was next door at the dry cleaners and thought I would try this place for lunch. I only had about half an hour before I had to be at my next destination, so I wanted something quick. I ordered the Italian hoagie/sub. It wasn't an authentic Philly hoagie roll, but it was fantastic. The bake their own bread and the meat on it was piled high and of high quality. I loved this sandwich. I could only eat about a 1/4 of it, but took the rest home to my husband. He thought it was fantastic, too. I would definitely go back! They could keep the place a little cleaner, but the sandwich was outstanding!
